How do I play a casual game?

To go to the Casual Play area, click on the Casual Play icon in the Main Room

Casual Play rooms include Constructed Games, Sealed Deck Games, Multiplayer Games and Draft Games.  From the Casual Play area, click on any one of the four icons that appear to go to that room.

What is a casual game?
A casual game is a single game or match (best of 3) that will not affect your rating.

NOTE:  In order to play a Constructed game, you must have a deck built prior to starting a game.  If you'd like to make a constructed deck click on the Deck Editor tab at the top of the screen.  For help with building a constructed deck, link to the Deck Editor help here, or by clicking on the help button in that tab.

Starting a new game
Once you are in any of the Casual Play rooms you can start a new game by clicking on the New Game table, which is always located in the upper left corner of the room.

Clicking on this table will open up the New Game Options window, were you can specify the game's starting parameters.

Joining a game
To join a game that another player has started, simply click on an empty chair at a table that already has one or more players seated at it.  Before you sit down, if you point your cursor at the table, a pop-up window will appear showing information about that game.
Challenging another player
You can challenge another player to a casual game in either the Constructed Game or Sealed Deck game rooms by right clicking on their name and selecting challenge from the list of options that appears.  See the Challenge section of the help file for more detailed information about challenging a player.

Help during a game
Once a game has started, more detailed help is available by right clicking in the play area and selecting help from the menu list that appears, or link to the Duel Screen help from here.
